Staff and Teaching Objectives

Over the years the school has gained an excellent reputation in the town due to the high quality of the teaching and the individual attention afforded to students. The school’s apple logo has led to its becoming known to locals as “La Poma (“apple” in Catalan). All the teaching staff are native English-speakers and have at least the CELTA Certificate or equivalent. We aim above all to motivate students and to enable them to use their knowledge of English in practical ways. Our classes are enjoyable and relate to the student’s personal, professional or academic interests

The school encourages use of different types of methodology, with emphasis on communicative activities in the classroom.

Students can enter for UCLES exams, although these are not compulsory.
